Hey followers!!! Whats popping homies??? 

I'm in the field now!!! heyooo!!!! I'm in this town called Tacna area Bolognesi and its suupperrrr pretty here!!! 

We live in the third floor of a house with some members and right in front of us is this super cute little park, I'll send a picture of it.

Sad news though, when we got to Arequipa it was CLOUDYYY! So, I couldnt see the volcano and take pictures!! but hopefully I'll go back there and get to see it. Like I said, Im in Tacna now, right by the chilean border, heyoo!! and it is SOOO HOTTTT!!! I'm already getting tan, lol.

The area we are in was closed for a while, so, we're opening it again and we know NO ONEE!! We're always lost, lol.

So weve just been contacting so far but its all been good. The field isn't as scary as I thought it would be. My companion, Hermana Mendez is AMAZING!!! She's so fun and shes really been helping me adjust and realize that missionary work really isn't that hard.

We are gonna have to put in some work here though, cause no only we do not have any investigators, but the ward here isn't that strong, so we have to simultaneously help strengthen the members AND bring in investigators, so, that should be fun lol. But I've actually been enjoying it so far.

I cant wait for us to finally have something else to do besides contacting though and I hope this heat will keep me from gaining weight too lol.

This morning, we met up with all the other sisters in our zone and hiked up a giant pile of sand that they call mountains here lol. Those of you who know me can guess that it was HORRIBLE!! Me and physical activity do not go well together lol but when we made it to the top, it was amazingggg lol. Anyways, I love you guys and miss you all!!! Keep emailing me and send me pics!!!!

My second week at the MTC

Hey followers! 

Its already been two weeks since I've left and they went by soooo fast I cant belive it. I still cant believe Im actually on a mission! everytime I look down at my nametag it doesnt feel real. anyways, onto the weekly update.

This week has been kinda an emotional roller coaster, I go back and forth from being too happy that I'm on a mission, to being terrified to actually go out into the field next week. I have no idea what im gonna do when i get there but hopefully ill be fine! 

OH! and so tell me how there was an EARTHQUAKE here this past week and i DIDNT FEEL IT!!!! UGGHHH  IM SO MADDDDDDDDD!!!!! I was walking out of the dining area and suddenly I see a bunch of people standing on the spots we are suppose to go to when there's an earthquake and there was a giant cloud of dust everywhere and yet somehow i didnt feel it!!!!!!!! luckily though there's earthquakes in Arequipa too so I'll most likely get some action soon lol and if Im extra lucky maybe the volcano will erupt too!! JK

Oh! and i completely forgot to tell you guys that the first day here they called me as an Hermana Cordinadora, so yeah, on top of the regular amount of stress I have from the mission, I got more having to be a leader and idk why they even called me, im terrible at it, but the Lord gives us assignments for some reason so i guess im just gonna have to wait and find out.

And here at the mtc, we split off into districts, and my district is actually the BESTTT!! We all get along sooo great and we all work so well together and we all make fun of each other lol  i love them all so much they're the best.

Anyways, I am LOVING Peru! Its so beautiful here! I cant wait to see how Arequipa looks like. anyways, thats all I have for now. And since this is my last week here I probably wont have a pday next week but i'll be back soon, no worries. I love you and miss you all!!!!! Hermana Burgos out

My first week at the MTC in Lima, Peru

Hey followers, Sister Burgos here reporting live from the Peru MTC.

My week has been sooooo great!!!! And being in an all spanish evnvirnment has apparently made me improve real quick cause everyone here is always so shocked when they find out I'm actually white lol Its been a little hard to adjust to the MTC life, but Im doing great. My companion, hermana Soliz is AMAZING!!!! shes so funny and outgoing and shes been helping me feel a lot more confidence about being a missionary. My teachers are great and I just absolutely love it here. I also been playing soccer here and playing with people who are actually good has made me step my game up a bit lol So yeah, thats my update on my first week. I love you and miss you alll sooooooooo much!!!!

I arrived safe and sound to Lima, Peru

Heyyyyy whats good guys??? 

So I made it to Peru with no problem, but we couldnt call yesterday so we´re writing today. We got here at like 2:30 and I didnt go to bed until like 3:30 so my first day has been a little tiring but its all good. I just got my badge so Im official nowww!!!!! anyways I just wanted to let you guys know I made it here alright. And the MTC here is actually super nice and pretty. Anyways, I love you guys!!!
